A forklift licence is important, but it's only part of the picture. At CHILL, we need people who know their equipment, understand the risks and look out for the people working around them.

Being technically capable and working safely go hand in hand. That's the standard we expect across our warehouse.

The role

Think F1 pit crew.

Trucks arrive, stock needs to move, orders need to be picked and packed, and everything needs to be ready to go — accurately, safely and on time.

Pick and pack makes up around 75% of your shift, with the other 25% spent operating a forklift and keeping stock moving around the warehouse.

You'll play an important part in keeping things organised and making sure orders are ready at the dock when the drivers need them.

What you'll be doing

• Picking and packing orders across the warehouse.

• Operating a forklift for stock movement and pallet flow.

• Working in temperature-controlled areas, including cold stores and freezers.

• Operating equipment safely around pedestrians, following clearance distances and speed limits.

• Completing pre-use equipment checks before every shift.

• Moving stock to pick locations and supporting loading and unloading as needed.

• Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses and safety concerns.

• Keeping your work area clean, organised and compliant with CHILL safety standards.

What we're looking for

• Current, valid LF forklift licence — this is a hard requirement.

• High Reach experience is highly desirable.

• Right to work in Australia.

• Genuine safety awareness and sound judgement.

• Comfortable working in cold and freezer environments for extended periods.

• Physically fit and alert for an active, hands-on role.

• Reliable, consistent and able to work well as part of a team.

The honest bit

Freezer work is cold. The pace can be demanding, and there's plenty to get through.

You'll need to stay focused, work accurately and be comfortable spending extended periods in temperature-controlled environments. If you take pride in doing things properly and looking out for the people around you, you'll feel at home here.
